F70 Rookie Has Questions

I hope these are not st__id questions.
#1 When you are finished setting/programming the F70, what position should be chosen from the menu just before you start searching?

#2 What position/s must the detector be in in order to Ground Balance (Fast Grab)?

#3 Is it possible to program Program #1 in a SL setting and program #2 to a DE setting in order to be able to switch back and forth?

Dave,

#1 there is no rule that any certain button has to be pressed. If you like to tinker with the sens, leave it there. If you like to experiment with the audio or threshold, by means leave it there. Leave it where it is, no need to specifically move it to anyplace special.

#2 Only one rule for the GB . If on a wet salt beach OR some really difficult ground, one that reads 40 or below, then and ONLY then do you NEED to get set in the Auto Tune mode. Once the GB is set in Auto Tune by all means it can be set back to a disc mode.

#3 yes, its all up to your choosing what goes into Pgm 1 and 2.
