Disc. at 21, set notch at 41, set threshold as high as you can before it gets jumpy (-3 up to 0, or higher, if possible), Sens as high as you can go. I run it between 85 and 90 with not much problem. Ground balance and go. I can hit a dime at 8" depth with no problem in my ground, which is about average in mineralization. The F 70 is a "sleeper". Its big brother, the F 75 gets all the attention, but the F 70 with a 11" DD coil can keep up with the F 75, depthwise. Not as many bells and whistles, but it will get the job done.

This is an excellent coin set up jimmy. I see where it would be useful.
I do things a little differently, myself. Coins are, honestly, dead easy to ID. They are what these machines are created for mostly, and cleanly give themselves away with unique VDI numbers. Add tones to that and you can hardly miss them.
So, I set the DISC at small foil, around 15, the tones at 3H or dP and - just listen.
I use no notch, either. If I have tones and an excellent TID suite to ID coins, why on earth would I notch out the range where the REALLY good stuff can be? I dont want to eliminate this range - I want to discern the
difference between it and the others. If I am after coins, I can simply CHOOSE to dig only those items in the coin ranges.
But, no detector made today knows the difference between a pulltab or a gold ring. If there is a lot of trash, then lots of people were also there - and your odds of a decent jewelry piece go up.
You can always revert to a trash notch set up, when you get tired of tabs. But, I have several rings and other gold items that would simply be missed had I nothched them out.
Think about it - one decent gold ring, at todays prices, is worth more than a boatload of common coin.
My SENS and THRESH are pretty much handled the same as jimmy.
The F70 is also a killer diller with a small coil in trash.
