F70 Park Hunt (silver)

Hello everyone! I hit a local park here in Las Vegas. I'm thinking this park should be renamed "Quarter Park" as I've dug more quarters than any other coin. I know, that's a good thing, quarters pay for machines. The totals below are the culmination of two hunts over two days...as Chuck Wollery said "We'll be back in two and two..." I've only hit a small portion of this park, so I'm excited to see how much clad I can pull out of here. I wouldn't mind pulling another ring or two either.

My personal "Clad Slayer" settings for the F70 are:

Disc- 15
Speed- DE
Sensitivity- 53
Threshold- 0
#Of Tones- 3

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting

Kind regards,

Nice Job! Thats a heavy looking ring..I like that 53 sens too...for some reason its right in some sort of magic clad grabber zone on the F70..:beers:

Yeah, I think I got that setting from you Mud. it's perfect for the parks and such. Good clad setting still reaches deep but doesn't go nutz on surface/near surface targets and play ground equipment.

I know right? I ran in the low 40's at a real scrapyard with some success last week, and I'll run in the mid 70's on very clean fields, but for some reason that mid 50 and especially 53 slaps the heck out of clad from surface to 5"...too high a sens on shallow clad seems to enlarge the target making it hard to locate quickly. I'm thinking theres a lot more rings in that park of yours...key in on those 23 and foil signals, get every crazy scratchy and unusual signals too..might be a chain! Its tough when theres a lot of Q's and D's since that tone is unmistakeable money...that danged old REVIER has had me digging zincs looking for a big gold ring for years! Maybe you will find one? Good luck and good to see you are finding some money and jewelry!:please:

Congrats on the ring. What a super unit the F70 is and it sounds like you have yours dialed in nicely. I found 3 rings in the last three days and they are all junk.
Oh well I'm doin my job right, it's the people loosing that are getting it wrong.
