Hi Have not been in the forums lately and sold all the detectors over the winter.
The one detector I remember most is the F5 that I sent in for threshold problem. they updated the software and tried it and set it up for me. They did something to it and maybe set it up for my soil which was around 68 because when I got it back I could set the gain way up and it did not chatter or freak out.
I should have never sold it because of all the ones I have owned.silver umax.- banditto 2 umax.- xterra 70-, -705.--whites eagle spectrum, The technetics T2,- minelab Safari- whites DFX,
and XL pro-- tesoro tejon, and the Cibola..Sure some of them beat it but not by much. None of them ever matched the little 1950's shirt button snap that I found about 14" down.
A lot of you don't believe it but I have never forgotten it. There also was the bolt I found that was about two inches deeper than the minelab digger.
Have the F5 detectors had anymore updates-Mine had 62 forsoftware version.
Thinking of getting back in for the summer and getting another F5.
