f5 dust cover

Does anyone recommend a dust/rain cover for f5. I like to keep all my electronic as new as possible for as long as I can. I'm kinda anal about protecting devices.
I've seen the ones they offer, It looks very stiff. Does anyone recomend them or is there a better alternative.

I use a shower cap for my F5 for wet weather, actually my brother wv62 carries a small back pack with a few shower caps inside for us to use. For storage and transporting I've got this soft kitchen towel that I drape over the control panel and use a small bungee cord to hold it tight at the bottom, works perfect. My machine looks Brand new, after every hunt I wipe it down and use a paint brush to put armor all on it, like you I like to take good care of my equipment.

Some guy makes custom ones..I cant remember who...I think they sell them to us on the accessory forum...I do the towel drape thing on wet days like SL52 mentioned..just to keep the main amount of water off..

I have the neoprene one, and another that is completely waterproof (camo pattern). The face of the F5 scratches up really easy, so the covers are nice for preventing that, although they are a pain in the ass to see through.

Pick your poison. lol

I use the one that came with the detector. Is a pain to see through with glare on it but othewise is good.
