F4 or ?

i am leaning on getting an F4, but wonder if some other detector, used or not would be a better choice, like a cz or xl pro, something , or maybe even a used xterra 70. any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

My thoughts would be XL Pro.CZ70 Cz3D or a nice XLT..........Xterra 70 would be a good choice as well
The F4 is more entry level and you Sir are way past that..

The coinstrike is a very very under rated machine. It is awsome in high trash areas. The 5" coil is deadly on old coins at around 5 to 7 Inches deep.
The most interesting thing is they have gone down in price even though Fisher is still making them per Fisher.... They work very well.!!!

Many fine units out there and many experienced detectorists have several for different situations. I guess the most important part is learning a unit well to get the most out of it and we all have our favorites new or old technology. Might suggest visiting a mult-line dealer to look them over or perhaps bring it up at a club meeting to see what works best in your area.
Have to agree with Elton F-4 is more of an entry level unit while those you mention are top of the line so that is to be taken into consideration..Good luck in your choice....

The coin$ would be the way to go,just because the price came down doesn't mean its only worth what they are selling it for.Infact first texas is cheating their selves. This machine is a high end detector in the same neighborhood as the t2,f75,xt70,cz3d,etc.Most people only try the coin$ out for 5 to 10 hrs and then decide to sell it.Do you only wash half of your car,do you only want half of your paycheck, then why do they only learn about 10 hrs of the coinstrike. The people that put 40 hrs or more into the coin$ finds out that the coin$ is a great high end detector and they will not part with it.

The Coin$ is a great machine for the money right now. Friend of mine has one and works great. I recently purchased a ID Excel by Fisher, which is a mid priced machine in my book. It actually performs well up against the Coin$. I'm sure the F-4 would make a good machine also. Whatever you come up with, just keep diggin!!!

Well said ONETON...It is an awsome machine after you learn what to do with the set up.
