F4...Has Fisher released any to Dealers?

I haven't seen posts from anyone about the F4 and Fisher has not answered my email so I am wondering if the F4 has hit the street yet. If it is 1/2 the machine the F75 is, I will probably consider one for my wife. Anyone out there have knowledge about availability or performance?

The F4 has not been released yet, but if the production unit performs anything like my prototype I tested did, you certainly will be happy.

It will fit the bill as a mid priced, high performance detector.

Andys Sabichs report mentioned that the 8" concentric coil was a good performer in areas the DD could not handle. Are these available and what is the price?

i think all standard B-H coils work 4, 8 and 10in. coils and they are cheap

If so, between $49. & $59.

Bill, how do you see the F-4 with the DD in performance to the Excel or Edge, as to depth, target separation, working iron and TID? Did you try it out on the beach?

comparisons with the F4, with the exceptions to respective Bounty Hunter units.

It hunts on my salt beach's very well. It will do very well there as long as it's kept out of the All Metal Mode.

It's also being shipped with the 8" consentric coil, along with the larger DD coil.
