Is anyone using the Bounty Hunter 10" Magnum on their F4 ? If so, what kind of depth are you seeing ? Is it a heavy coil ?

At about $45, it seems like a great deal for a big coil...provided it works.
 
I tested the 10" coil on the F4 in it's early stages of development, and I remember it working just fine. As far as depth, I don't remember the figures because it would have only been relative to my ground & place of hunting. I had switched to the 8" coil, and was impressed at it's performance over the DD stock coil. The 10" concentric was deeper than the 8" or the DD, but like I say, I don't recall the exact numbers. Perhaps a couple of inches.

Your correct. It's a heck of a deal for the price.
 
Bill are your saying you got greater depth with the 8" concentric vs the 11" DD ?

Do you recall if the BH 10" coil is lighter then the Fisher 10.5" like they use on the Coinstrike, Edge, etc. ?
