Anybody out there know if it is possible to adjust the pinpoint sensitivity setting? I would like to lower it to see if the depth readout would be more accurate. Has anyone had one open before? Any adjustment pots? This detector is my sons and I would like to make it a little more accurate for him. This one seems like it's cranked up pretty good. Coins at 6" will read 2 or 3". Thanks for any help.

Good answer Poorman. You have to factor in the additional depth above ground. Also if your VDI is only hitting about 6", it wouldn't hurt to turn the sens down a notch or two prior to pinpointing. It works for me.
