For those having trouble pinpointing with an F2 hold the coil directly over the target noise and press pinpoint button and it will detune a tad and get you a right on pinpoint. If you detune target completely( get no response) move the coil a bit to the side with just part of the coil over the target. Heck its right in the manual and again read that manual page for page and thats what I get for scanning quickly thru mine as even though user friendly manuals contain those little tips that make for a more efficient unit..Probably won't work with most units holding coil directly over target as most will detune the target out but the F2 seems to be an exception..

i just got it out of the box. pieced it together and off i went on my happy little hunt.
