I was leery, but thought i'd give one a try, they work real well on coins,62 this morn local parking lot, notch just for coins, 1 bar sens, coins down to 6 1/2" using lesche digger for measure, got deeper signals, but i'm not gonna dig em, (too Hot today) 1 bar sens, here's a pic of em, only 6 pc of chopped cans by lawnmower for trash, it I'D d well on depth and denomination, nice detector, don't think i ever had a coin detector that worked any more efficient, is nice to use, :detecting::fisher::usmc::thumbup::usaflag:

That's a great hunt Bugar, my F2 should be here Wednesday. I know you were just hunting for coins but how does the F2 do on finding jewelry/rings. Steve.

Real good on rings and jewelry, have found several gold filled rings, all coming in as nickles :detecting:

I agree, it's great on rings I found 2 so far one 14K rang up as nickel and the other is 18K gold plated from the 1930's it rang up mixed between nickel and dime, here are the 2 rings.

I do not understand and get confused between these two, what the difference is between these are and what they mean>>>8-Segment visual target ID and 2-digit numeric target value ?

8-Segments meaning ?

I also want to know how high does the 2-digit numbers go to. Also in steps of 2 or more or one at a time ?

Thank you.

Visual ID is where an icon lights up saying penny/dime/quarter/etc. 2 Digit numeric value is - all items (coins/rings/pulltabs/etc.) have a what I call a structure value do to its size and composition, maybe on a ABC detector a nickel has a numeric value of 32 and a pulltab has a numeric valve of 34. It is a little extra info whether to dig or not. And an XYZ brand detector the numbers might be different. I say set your discrimination to just knock out a small nail and dig the rest. Steve.
