F2 for my wife?

Absolutely. Great turn on and go machine. Best buy machine for the price. Very good depth. I hit coins at five inches with NO problems.

I always push the f2 because my f4 was so great, and I tried an f2 at a dealer and it was very simliar performance wise..... BUT my wife hated the f4. She loves the ACE250. Same with my 10 year old son. There's no accounting for taste :)

Really light and has many bells and whistles of the expensive machines. Combine this with excellent ID and 5-6 inch depth and a lot of bang for the bucks. Heck have and have used many high priced machines and for local parks my F2 does the job..

My 20 year old daugher uses one and cleans up at the local parks and schools. The pinpointing is right on too. So, yes I would buy the F2.
