F2 find. What is it?

Found this item with my F2 in popular city park at 3 - 4" deep. It jumps from ZINC to DIME. It is very light weight and seems to be hollow. Probably part of, or a toy. This has happened before when I thought I'd found something from the far reaches of outer space. Every 9 year old kid knew what it was .. but I didn't. Oh well.

Looks like an old capacitor with two broken leads.

Can you see where two leads have broke off?
It does look like a pillow capacitor... but no id writing on it. but that doesn't mean anything either..

If you swallow it, you could track it with your MD.

We've done it with kids who swallowed a penny.

Part 1) .. I looked close and found where the leads have borken off of this capacitor.

Part 2) .. I swallowed it and the results are as follows:

F2 with standard coil. Picked it up at 7.5" from the front and 6" from the back.
F2 with 4" coil .. 7" front and 5.5" from the back.

With the BBB (Biffin Billy Bushbuck) Super Detector and Super Coil the capacitor was picked up at close to three (3) feet from over the top of my head !!!

Figured that's what it was. Now days the same cap would be about the size of a BB and would surface mount onto the PCB.
