F2 and steel bottle caps

Again using the DD coil. My steel bottle cap response seem to be site specific. At one location I had steel bottle caps hit and bounce around a number of 86. At another location several miles away I had steel bottle caps bouncing around a number of 71. I'm sure ground conditions play into this.

Reading the bottle caps in the coin range is not because of the detector electronics, it is just the 11" DD coil that makes the F2, F4 or F75 do that. Many DD coils on other brand detectors do that too. If you switch to the 8" or 4" round coils the bottle caps read as iron.
