F19 on the way!!

Well-known member
I done a trade and have very nice used F19 with stock and 11"DD coils on the way. I have been like a sponge watching YouTube videos and reading everything that's been posted on these forums about it to try and help with my learning curve! I feel like a kid waiting on Santa to come in a brown suit instead of a red one! ; ) So what's all your guys experiences with this machine? Is she a coin and relic slayer? Feel free to post pics on this post of some your finds with the F19!

Congrats on the F19,

I don't know anything about the F19 except I see that it uses the same coils as the F5's. So if it is anything like the F5 you will be getting a good coin machine. My brother is running a older F5 and he really done well on the silver last year.

Good luck,

Ron in WV

It's a relic/coin/gold machine all in one package from what I've read Ron which should fit my style of hunting nicely. Ron it uses F5 and the Frat brother coils from Teknetics. Still Looking I will keep you posted on my thoughts and finds with the machine and Happy Hunting to you too!

I've had mine for 6 months now and absolutely love this machine. I run mine with full sensitivity, 0 disc, V break 40 and volume 11. I learned a lot from Woodchiphustlers post on this forum. I would suggest you looking up his post and videos, very helpful.
I think you made a great choice with this machine. Good luck ..

I have read a lot of Woodchiphustler post on here, but no videos? Where are these at?

That's funny I've watched that video 4-5 times already!!

I have a strong feeling that very much like the F70, the F19 is a sleeper. I'm looking forward to reading your experiences with it.
No doubt its a good machine just not sure why they only come in camo. Lots of luck with yours! Keep us posted!

Thanks Diggindad for the Good luck wishes on the F-19. The camo paint scheme I think was to appeal more for the relic hunters who are primarily woods and field hunters. I am a deer hunter so camo is my favorite color.

Howdy, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine, IMO, be prepared to have a ton of fun! I am really impressed with this machine - its become one of, if not, the favorite one for me. I can on ly speak for myself and what I think, so.... one real smooth machine, very sensitive, the stuff I find, amazes me! The target ID, seems to bulldog the item for good finds... locks right on! Very stable. Depth guage is pretty much on the money as well... "I" think mine is plenty deep enough, and yes, thats even on the high conductive stuff... silver, coins etc... I love the red backlight... as I'm mostly a night hunter... I set mine to "2" for brightness and works great!

Like others have said, can set that bad boy right to max and she'll run nice and quiet! I also like setting to 100, and VCO at 40 with zero disc. This machine, IMO is pretty darn amazing. I have the F70 and really have enjoyed it etc.... especially once you start to have spent some time with the 70, you can get i tto run quiet etc... and its amazing in sensitivity etc as well... but, for me, between the two, and I know many will disagree most likely, but again, for me, I give the nudge to the F19. I will probably be posting my F70 on Craigslist... don't get me wrong, its not because I don't like it, I do... its just I don't feel I need both the F70 and the F19... and for me, again, a slight nudge to the F19 for my hunting needs. Fun machine though... I feel as some others feel, this may well be a pretty good sleeper unit.

Anyways, enjoy and have fun!!! Hope you like yours as much as I like mine. Good luck!

get a small coil :clapping: fisher or NEL F19 slays coins in the trash :clapping: like every detector its not perfect but it does what I want it for fast swinging sniping coins :poke: or slow too or somewhere in between :lmfao: depends on how I feel or what's around.

has a language of its own.

I put some zig on the screen and the touch pads from new no scratches on my baby

Well I got the F-19 Monday and haven't had a chance to try it out in the field. I did try it out in my test bed and it picked up all my coin and relic targets the deepest being a 8" .58 caliber CW minnie ball this was with the 11"DD coil attached. I believe this thing will be a goodun! To my suprise when I received the machine the guy who owned it threw in a neoprene screen cover and a brand new Fisher khaki colored hat! I will try and get it out this weekend for a real world hunt and I'll report back on it.

Watch taking the cover off. It might pull the knobs off. I had that happen to me. HH

Ground balance procedure. Sensitivity 50 . Turn on all metal . Use a faint threshold hum. Ground Grab in an area void of targets. Turn off all metal Set sensitivity back to 100,Press menu. If night hunting set light, Volume 11 to barely hear iron, tone break 40, no notch, no disc. Have fun.

Thanks for the info George! You need to get out and make some more videos! I've watched you dig that seated dime 5 or 6 times already! That was a heck of a hunt you had that day!!

Because minelab are so slow bringing out new machines that are what I need I am looking at Fisher as a long term replacement .

The F19 is a machine that is on the radar alone with the Gold Bug and the Teknetic's G2 + and I think the Macro Racer , all these machines are basically the same except for coils and name I think .
All are great for Gold and Silver and the coinage too so in the next few months I will have a look at a few at my local dealer to see what they are like .

Good luck with your F19 88junior it should be a winner.

More than anything I want which ever I get to act as a back up or replacement for my Terra 705 and as a backup to my Deus.

With a 11in coil on which is I think the same coil as the F75 it should be as deep ? but that I will have to find out at the shop.

Nukem get a F-19 along with a 11" DD Biaxial coil and you will then have a F19 & G2+ in one machine. The rod configuration is all that would be different.

I am also wondering as the F75 has the same size coil though not frequency how both the F75 and F19 would compare in depth ?
I would be using mine on the dry beaches , sand and Stony beaches here in England.

Well the F-19 with the higher frequency would be hotter on lower conductors like gold and that would be the prime target I'd be after at beach areas. The higher frequency should also handle ground mineralization better I would think.
