F19 for plantation sites ?

bonecrusher

New member
Hello guys, this is my first post on the Fisher forum. I've never used a Fisher but have been intrigued by some of the videos on the F19. I mostly hunt old plantation sites for civil war relics. Most all of the sites I hunt are littered with nails from the torn down plantations and pieces of iron from the farming operations. Just need a little advice from some of you experienced Fisher users. Do you think the f19 would be a good choice or is there a better option? Thanks.

just read all the posts here. to cut to the chase it would be the cat's meow. GB, set gain at 39 and go dig everything for a while to learn....
20 hours and you'll be a pro...

Sensitivity 100, V break 39, volume 20, no notch , zero disc. Bon appetite.

I know I asked this before but I want to make sure. When the v-break is set to say 39 does this make it a 2tone. 39 down low tone , everything else high tone ? Thanks GS

Targets that read below 39 will be a low tone above 39 will be a VCO Tone. Deeper the target the lower the VCO tone. Good targets that are shallow have a higher pitch VCO.

I know you are getting a great detector. But I ask everyone do not buy any machine based on my results. I get nothing from any manufacturer to promote any detector. But thanks and I know you made a wise choice.
