For sell is a new, never used, Stainless Steel Scoop for $165.00.
This was custom made for me by ScoopsUnlimited, in Jackson Mississippi. The stock scoop is made with 16 gauge #304 S/S with 1/2” x 1/2” S/S welded wire, 5” O.D., and has a 44” S/S breakdown handle with 2 foam grips. Front of basket reinforced with 3" S/S sheet.
The following is the list of custom additions not found ot the stock scoops:
1. Diameter: increased to 6”.
2. Basket Front: has a 6” duckbill scoop.
3. Basket Bottom: has ¼” holes provided by staggered ½” S/S wire.
4. Top of Basket: has a 2” wide reinforcement plate between front and back to strengthen the handle attachment area
5. Sides of Basket: has ½” reinforcements bars on each side.
6. Bottom of Basket: has a 3” skid plate on the bottom.
7. Handle: 43” and proportioned so the scoop fits in medium sized suit case.
The use of Stainless Steel Wire maximizes flow of sand out of the scoop. The ¼” holes in the bottom greatly reduce losing small items such as bobby pins, tiny ear studs, they stay in the basket.
This is a tuff scoop. I have been using one for the past six years. As with most things I do if one is good then 2 or 3 are better so I decided to let one go.
