General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have decided to go back to what I'm use to with a baisc machine. I bought this last week and it is to compliacted for me. The machine is a 9.5 + out of 10 . It was bought 4-18-2007 from Southern . I never used the standard coil but Ray did but you can't tell it. The 6x10 DD coil is in excellent condition. Comes with Owner's Guide, two DVD's and paper work showing when it was bought. Charger and two battrie packs. One you can charge the other holds AA battries. Lots of warranty left. Asking $850.00 shipped.US Postal Money order. Ship US only. Thanks for looking

Tom, I might have an exhange you may find of interest.I bought my MXT from Brian at Southern treasures this year, too. I want something more tunable and you want something similar, so why not trade? The MXT goes very deep, and is easy to use. In fact, when I asked Brian about getting a DFX, he recommended the MXT instead, saying the DFX is too complicated for lots of people. I'd still like to try the DFX, and you can ask Brian to verify his high opinion of the MXT. I have two coils to go with it: 5.3" and 9.5". Would you consider a trade? I would pay you an extra sum because the DFX is a little more expensive than the MXT. My machine is like new, too. Thanks for considering this. Reggie
