Hello;my name is kevin I bought an F 75 SE from bleeohio the knob on the seting control is really loose what is the best
thing I can do to make this knob stay on so that it does not come off and get lost..Thannk you for your help..

does it have a set screw on the side ???... Is it stripped out ??A little silicone usually works if no set screw. Or contact Felix at Fisher..Order a new knob.

Is the knob just turning loose or is actually coming off the shaft.

The reason I ask that is that knob turns pretty freely. Also when you push the red button and then turn the knob does it change the settings or just spin on the shaft?

If the know is pulling off with very little effort you will need to either call FT and buy a knob or put a little something in the hole on the knob to make it fit a little tighter. My first thought is short piece of fishing line. I would use anything like paper a shim it may draw moisture.

A rain cover works really well. My Settings knob will come off, but not by itself. The Rain Cover fits tight enough to hold the knob in place. The knob should not come off too easy. You are not over thinking it are you? I use covers on my all my coils and control boxes.
