I am thinking on upgrading my present detector a CZ 70 and was wondering if I would be gaining much by going with the F 75? Also does the F 75 have automatic ground balance?

In my opinion you would be making a much better move .
The F75 has to be Ground balanced manually so to speak, but its ground balanced by whats called a "fast grab" balance method.
All you do is push the spring loaded trigger switch undeneath the controll box forward and by keeping you finger pushing the switch forward ,you then pump the coil up and down to within an inch or so of the ground about five times. the screen will then display your Ground balance reading of that soil. It couldn`t be much easier than that ! It sort of IS a type of Auto balance in a way, theres no turning of knobs to have to do .
I manually Ground balance it in all metal motion mode often though, no particular reason though , i just always have done.

I with you Jeb, and I usually +1 or 2 on the GB as well. Old habits I guess.
