F-75 to the doctor

I sent my F-75 to Felix today. I think UPS is using mules to get it there. They said it would be there next Monday going ground. I ask her if that means by truck or snail. Oh well, can't do much about it.

I am getting the upgrade while it is there. Can any one tell me how long they might have it. Other relic hunters are pinpointing in on my secret spot, so I might loose out on some good finds.Anyway, can't wait to get it back to try out my portable back hoe.

Portable backhoe..that sounds cool..I would'nt worry about the sites to much..the F75 goes deep..keep us posted..

but I think the reality may be that the new high end very advanced machines now and in the future are going to have problems discovered along the way...who ever said pushing the technology envelope would be easy :)

When I talked to Felix the other day and asked about current turn around time, he said about three weeks at the most. I suspect you can impact that a little by how fast you get it to them. This brings up a good question. Which carrier service is Fisher using to return ship the 75's after the service work is completed?

I sent mine Fed Ex ground on 2/11/08. They received it 2/14/08. Just received notification it left El Paso (also Fed Ex home delivery) on 2/21/08 and is in route. and should be here tomorrow. Sooooo . . . seven days turn around at their shop.

I paid with credit card and that probably sped up the process.

and I suspect he was giving me worst possible case since I didn't ask for any more precise info when I asked.

I had tried just about everything that has been posted on this site. [sup][/sup]

sent mine in today for a checkup and the upgrades. felix told me once it gets there tunaround time would be two weeks. i also asked if the upgrades would make it weatherproof or water resestant, he said weatherproof.
