F-75 rechargeable batteries

What's the best rechargeable batteries to use. I've been thinking about the energizers sold for cameras. What's everybody using? Does Fisher sell any?

Hey Daryl, I use batteries called Eneloop by Sanyo. They hold their charge for up to a year with hardly any drop off in power. I have gotten 40+ hours on one set but being lithion- ion, when they go, they go fast. It's not a problem if you have a spare set with you. I think 4 batteries with the charger was something like $25. And without the charger were under $18.

So these have already paid for themselves and kept used ones out of the landfill. Ron

I got mine at Ace Hardware but any big hardware or box store should have them. You can probably get a good deal on line, too.

I've got about 25 hours on them and they still show a full charge, I do carry some alkaline energizers so when the rechargeables drain I won't be caught without. Energizers work the best on my F70, seems to calm the machine down and the numbers don't jump around. HH John
