F 75 Messages

I never gave it much thought it seems to get the job done but in my ground that i think is mild the FE O bar just barely moves.
I have never seen any message like CANT GB or PUMP COIL TO GB and i do get the overload tone i do not get
the message OVERLOAD . I just tried a GB over a iron hitching post ring it FG at 80 Looks like a trip to Fisher is coming
I just did a reset the other day for the heck of it . That did not help Thanks Mike

You know it does say in the manual if using Discrimination you don't need to GB..Maybe thats why you haven't noticed any real issues with locating Targets..Or you just don't have a lot of minerals...Keep us posted...

Most of the time i run in disc but i also run in manual mode and have never seen any message.

I have two plus year's with my F 75 and I am not sure if I have ever seen "can't g/b." I have had some strange g/b readings in soil I know what the g/b should be and looked for a better spot to g/b suspecting I was near some iron. On sites that you regularly hunt, do you usually get fairly consistent g/b reading? Good luck! HH jim tn

Jim i have almost a year on mine now and never thought about the messages until i read somebody talking about it
I tried a forced OVERLOAD message .with a piece of iron I get the ring tone but no message my FE O bar gets MAXed out and stuck there
My ground is mild 60 to 80 gb so i never thought about it .

Elton it runs fine i hunt with 2 guys when we cross check targets i hit all there's but thy don't hit all of mine

The book says these messages can show on your screen
OVERLOAD ,RAISE COIL ,CANT GB , PUMP COIL TO GB
I have never seen any of these messages Does any one get these messages Thanks Mike

I THOUGHT THE MESSAGE WENT IN THE # ID BOX ||||||||||||||| WRONG IN SMALL BOX CENTER BOTTOM SORRY
