F 75 Frequency

The manual says 13kHz is the nominal but does not say what the high or low frequency's are

Is anybody running high or low and do you see a different thank you

Hi there!

Regarding the various frequencies you can select, (T2 or F75). They are within the 12 KHz to 13 KHz band and of little noticeable effect on the targets detectability or depth.

The main purpose is to avoid co-interference. Some folk have made claims on the unit's capabilities when selecting these marginal frequency changes, but such claims are

more speculation than provable or repeatable.

Operational Frequency changes of several kilo-hertz are required to make any noticeable difference in performance of a detector, and the consequences are then dependant on both the target material and the soil's characteristics.

Hope this brief reply answers your query.........MattR.UK

Ok. Now I am confused. How do you change the frequency? Are we talking about the 7 frequency shift where you hold the menu button and pull the trigger? TMAN...

Sorry yes that was the shift, but since i went to freq -- 7 i got a 1891 0 seated dime on land and a

.925 dolphin ring at beach maybe the shift just change my luck Plus just went to 2nd set of batteries
