F-75 Finds at the DIV

If you guys go to the DIV forum you probably have already seen this. But for those that haven't, here are my F-75 finds from this past weekend in Virginia. That ground was super iron dirt. It was a lot like what I have around here so I think that is why I done as well as I did up there. Now as far as relics go....what I found up there in one weekend, represents what a REALLY good YEAR would be of relic hunting around here! I came home a very happy camper. That F-75 was smokin' up there.

Man I would love to attend this hunt one day. Take my F75 up there and see what i can come up with. You did great man. Awesome finds. How do you get on the list to attend these Div hunts?

Being usted to that soil already really put you in a great position I guess....We have no red clay up here so it threw me for a loop at first as it does most people.....
Is that haul like more than all your GNR$ runt hunts combined? ;)

Bill,

I had more finds on the first day at LUNCH than I did at those other two hunts combined :) I washed my hands of that group about a year ago and you couldn't pay ME to go on one of their hunts now. I met so many good folk up there at the DIV and had such a time that I'd go on another one just to go to the BBQ dinner.

Each bit had two of them...one on either side of the horse's head. I was fortunate to dig this one...and as soon as I got it home my wife took it away from me because she is the horse fanatic lol.

Motion all metal, sensitivity on 91. Frequency #7 (until I got near a Whites TDI and then I had to back it down to #6 or lower).

I go the DIV usually once a year with a new baby in the house & all.........
Hopefully I see ya in Nov.
HH,
Bill

Lord i would love to go. I would drive all the way from Mississippi to attend one of those digs.

Nice find. I dug a decorative one in front of an old hotel. It is silver and has a womans face on it.. looks like a cameo brooch. Gave it to the hotel owners for letting me dig there.
