out of the box...The first thing that you notice is how light the detector is and balances good, you should be able to hunt with this detector all day long with no problem... Good clean, crisp audio with a simpler menu than the F-75... If my work schedule will allow and am going to try it out in a 100 + year old yard that I have hunted heavily with other detectors....Thanks RIchard
