hello all, ive been detecting on and off for over 25 years. i was 13 when i got my first machine and now im rolling up on 41. i can assure all of you that all of the finds pictured were truly pulled out of the ground by myself over that long period of time. the pics are simply a culmination of many years detecting. now elton has me thinking about detecting parks[which ive never done] most are the results of searching old houses and foundations, or just about anywhere i was allowed to swing my machine. too many wheats to list. literally hundreds. ive been doing a lot of relic hunting lately, but will soon return to my coinshooting ways. its always cool to pull something good out the ground.hh,

Those are some beauties, can not wait for the frozen tundra to thaw!

Nice variety of finds. It's always a rush when silver pops out at you! I'm always amazed at how many coins are lost over the years. This is incentive to get me out again this weekend!

Keep 'em comin'! Is there a Part 3?

I like the token with the cutouts.

Your blank disc- does it have a reeded or plain edge? Might be interesting to compare it some other small silver coins, like the 3c silvers and half dimes, English 3 pence, etc. You could weigh it, too.

Nice to see a Civil War-dated Seated dime- bet that put a smile on your face! I have an 1862.

I am working on my own "eye candy" pictures, taking pix of sixteen year's worth of accumulation. Like you, I have far too many Wheaties to individually put in an album and label, much less photograph. I put those (as well as modern tokens and modern foreign stuff) into a quart jar. The Indian cents and older foreign and older tokens and all silver go in my book, though, and I just reached 301 pieces. As time consuming as it was, I have now taken front and back pictures of all of them (except a few I've misplaced), but cropping and fixing up the pictures is gonna take me a long time- weeks, maybe.

PS- whoa, Nellie- I missed the Seated quarter at first look! WTG! I only have one.

And I mistook your silver eagle for a Walker at first glance. That's a trip, you diggin' a silver ounce bullion coin. I know of only one other person who dug a silver round. He was at a playground. I guess a kid had brought it to school and lost it there.

I really looked over your picture after enlarging the image...You have a fantastic collection of finds and should be very proud of your accomplishment.
You for sure know how to swing a detector and get great results..Sorry to have heard about your loss of coins from your home being hit......by crooks.
What is your detector of choice????. I also know you help out a lot of newbies, and that Sir should be commended !!!!......Have a great day.
