Eyeball find...

...took the trash down to the road for pick-up and found this ring beside the road. At first I thought the stones could have been small diamonds but looking at the pic they appear to be glass.

But it is stamped 10k.

Brian and I hit a couple of parks but only recovered a nickle, dime and several pennies. We had a little help digging from about 400 kids though!! Brian had to be real careful swinging the loop. But all the kids had fun looking for buried treasure. Probably could have sold a couple machines to their parents if I had them.

That sure is a neat find Doug ! And they do put diamonds in 10 K jewelry sometimes so check it out before dismissing it, Steve in so az

congrats on the find..I keep telling myself I need to buy one of those diamond testers to for my curiousity sake.

Glad you and Brian were able to get out. I know what you mean about everyone trying to help find stuff. (Probably explains why I bought one of those headband multi-LED lights...so I can go back later after the rug rats are asleep and find what they wouldn't let me find

You get get a list of parents wanting to buy a detector then ask Jeff for a commission on each one that sends the money in for a detector.

That looks like the real deal to me! The stones might be real, or they could be synthetic. Just check with your local trusted jeweler. Nice find! Or you can send it here and I will check it with the diamond tester!
