Extensive rain doesn't seem to bother CTX

We've had almost 7 inches of rain since yesterday. Went to a place today I thought I had killed and found a war nickel on edge at 7 inches. To add most of the coins I've found in my supposed hunted out places withV3i and etrac have been coins on edge and that's with or without the rain.

Rain what's it like not to have to dig in concrete it's still bone dry here were the vdi # the same on the coins you dug on edge. Thankx

Sube, some of the coins on edge come as regular signals. Some of the on edge coins come in at maybe 2 -3 points lower in conductive with maybe 1 point on the ferrous. It seems to me when running in ferrous coin target separation mode, the ferrous number is indeed as consistent or more consistent than the conductive number(12). Big difference compared to etrac.
And a lot of these coins on edhe aren't that deep either. Some are only 4-5 inches. I don't seem to see anywhere where some have coins on edge in their test gardens. I attribute this coins on edge advantage to a few things. First the CTX seems to track higher in auto vs etrac. And even at this tracked higher sensivity the CTX is quieter than etrac over the same ground. The audio is cleaner on CTX vs E. The CTX recovery rate is faster than E. And not knowing for sure about the inner workings of CTX, the ferrous numbers being more consistent on deeper and on edge coins may be an attribute that's aiding in the coins on edge discovery.
