I made these patch cords myself, because I couldn't find the right length for what I wanted.
I got the connectors at radio shack and used some communication cable.
The cable is stiff and does not flex so it should last forever.
It is easy to make. Just remember you need stereo jacks and 3 conductor cable for this to work.

Are you talking about a cable for the coil cable or your head phones? If you were refering coil cable extension cable, there was a post by Willie on what he did to make one. You have to find the correct male and female connectors which I have not found yet.
