With all the talk of beach replenishment in Atlantic City N.J. and other places I thought this article that was in the N.Y. Daily News on 2/16/05 might be of interest. Regards Steve Brooklyn
 
all of the years of going to new jersey, i have never seen a clam large enough to swallow a hand grenade. i would think that the grenades are fairly large considering the technology of the day.
