Can anyone tell me what is the best way to get the most depth from the explorer.Also what is the best jewerly pattern.

Try hunting with your sensitivity in manual instead of auto, some people are getting better depth in manual. HH Butch
 
Yes, I am totally convinced that using manual gets much better depth. The only time I use auto is in conditions that keep changing and making the machine unstable. -Dave
