EXPLORER XS SOFTWARE VERSION

Hey, recently acquired an Explorer XS and saw the software version is V1.10.5 22 DEC 99. Trying to figure out if this is the oldest version. Its my first Minelab and can't wait to get rid of the snow, actually may go out in the snow anyway.
Thx if anybody has any info..........
 
I beleive that is the original explorer program, the first year of the XS, and then it was changed in in 2000. I guess there was some bugs in the original version??
I have the '99 version, have no problems with it and find lots of coins with my XS.
