Greetings everyone!
I recently picked up a used XS which came with a rechargeable battery and charger. I left it to charge overnight only to find out the next day that it did not get any juice in there. Upon inspecting the charger's connection to the unit I realized that the hole in which you stick the charger's connector has no pin in the center. Is that normal? On the charger side, the male connector has a hole in the center and looks like a pin should go in there, but there is not one in the unit's connector. I think a laptop power connector is a good example how it should be. So is there supposed to be a pin if you look down the hole (which is usually for the positive, and the outside is negative) or not?
On the charger there is a red light which comes on as soon as its plugged into 110v outlet, and that led stays red weather the cord is plugged in the XS unit or not, is that also correct?
btw... I also have a AA holder which, when installed, works fine, so I know the main unit works.
Thanks ahead everyone, and HH!! (this also stands for "Happy Holidays")
