explorer xs can be as easy or hard depends on the user

i have owned my xs for almost 2 yrs now also have every sunray coil,x-1 probe ,treasure pouch and everything else sunray makes for the xs.the first2-4 months i was BAFFLED .i also own a gti 1500 garrett unit, and to be perfectly honest with you all the XS cant shoot the hell out of the garrett no if-ands-or butts i went to a local beach with my bilaw last weekend in chicago and netted 170 coins in 3.5 hours my binlaw has a gti 2500 talking box HIS FINDS 47 coins total, all i use is the select screen and x out crown caps and nails,sens20- to max if able,var 10,lomits 10,gain 7 , sounds cond,and i was using the sunrayx-12.the unit can be as hard or as easy as you like if you get the bear and the bear doesnt get you. HH from a fellow THER in sheboygan wisc and NO I AM NOT A DEALER just a happy xs owner and i wouldnt trade the XS for 5 garretts,5 whites or any other major units
