My legs are so sore I can hardly walk from getting up and down so much. I decided to use the Exp2 in stead of the Garrett 250 for my hunts. My 9 YO daughter used the 250 in the kids hunt. Between the 2 of us this is what we found. I will post pics this evening. Taking Dad to VA Dr today.

Quite a haul, had a great time, well run hunt, very friendly people. My daughter had a great time with her Garrett 250 finding coins in the kids hunt also. More later. One more thing, I heard several people fussing about being close to one of those #$%^&*ing Minelabs as they mess up their detector!! I noise cancled before the hunt and had no problems.

Wow you did extemely well and seems like the noise cancel did the trick. I personally think using the Explorer at a hunt with shallow coins is like using a high powered rifle to hunt squirrels...
My choice would be a light detector with quick pinpoint ability to change freq's, but one can't argue with success...
All the hunts I have ever been in speed in swinging and quick pinpoint did the trick as most hunt fields are just about hunted out in 10-15 minutes...

You had a good day to say the least. I know what you mean about being sore all over after a hunt like that.........:) The pain is worth the gain in my book and congratulations on all you finds. HH.

You did AWESOME!!!!! WTG on getting that Gold Coin and all those other great coins and stuff. That sure is one heck of a haul. How many people in the hunt? Got to love that Minelab!!!!!

Some pics of the hunt and finds. My 9 YO did well with her 250, we all had a great time. Some people were hunting with their coil 6 or 8 inches in the air, some were whipping the coil so fast you wouldnt believe it. Others were just zig-zaging along with no pattern at all, some of the coins I dug were from already dug holes, they didnt dig deep enough. I hunted with the sens at 10, pinpointed by wiggling, and hunted a pattern. Proof is in the pudding. The Explorer is a great machine.

Very nice haul Cloctor! Hunts are always a lot of fun and it looked like it was a really well attended hunt in the pictures. Congrat's on all the prizes and coins you got from the hunt and hope you are able to get out and find some nice lost old coins and relics this season. HH.

Nice going cloctor......and daughter.....It's just very hard to beat the Explorer...even in what should be a speed hunt! Guess those other detectors just couldn't take the heat, or perhaps their operators couldn't.:clap:
