EXPLORER/SOVEREIGN/S1 all in one.

Do you Own an EXPLORER,

A Sovereign XS-2

and an S-1 Probe.

Would you like a Probe for your Explorer, BUT, Don't want to Spend the Money right Now ?

Take the S1-Probe from its Control Box.

Thread it in The Sovereigns Control Box Direct.

Take 2 Hose Clamps & mount a Slide Clip on them.

Then Mount the Clamps to the Explorer.

Slide the Sovereigns Control Box in place.

& mount Probe Clip to Clamp.

Some of the early S1 were not able to take the probe off like the newer S1 are, so I ordered in a new one and sold the old one when I first got my Explorer. At that time they didnt make a X1 probe so I used my SunRay hipmount bag and had a probe holder put on it and mounted my new S1 Probe direct into the Sovereign control box and hipmounted it. Just had to switch my headphones and turn on the Sovereign and it worked excellent.

I did that with the Control Box yesterday RICK,

it was Alright, But found it In the Way at times.

So when I returned Home , I started Thinking of Different ways

To Mount it.

Spent about 3 Hours Straight ,

No Problems.

The SWINGY THINGY made it Light.

I agree.

I had an EXPLORER probe on my XS, but it seemed TOO SENSITIVE.

It would Signal all the way up the Sides, which made it practically

Imposable to use in a Hole.

And I would have had to Adjust My SENS every time I tried to use it.

Was part of the Reason I went Back to the SOVEREIGN & sold the XS.

I do like the EXPLORER 2 tho.
