explorer SE with sef 15x12 coil

iam new to this . iam looking for settings for beach wet and dry sand also to work inland fields iam using a explorer se with sef 15x12 coil i still have the standard se coil and iam willing to go back on it if need be if sef coil is to strong and cant discriminate if there is to much iron in the ground..

What i found on the beach is i could take the sensitivity to the max... but anything over 28 just made no difference in the dry sand. Just remember, the Explorer has a BIG advantage over most detectors in the wet sand and transitioning. Personally i found using Ferr sounds in the field had a BIG BIG advantage over Cond in the fields. Set your sensitivity at 24 to 26 depending on the depth you are getting, the amount of large deep iron, and Hot Rocks. Set your disc at 30, just enough to disc out mineral noise then dig everything that isnt iron sounds just like the beach.

I recommend coil detech 10x14 "
excellent coil.

coiltek WOT 15''is too resonant for the beach, but good for the search fields in a clean place
