Its the best I could with the Explorer.

Your welcome. Im sure someone with a ton time on the explorer could have done better.

What a nice video! Thanks for taking the time to make it! I rarely look at numbers on my SE and only use tone ID..

Very interesting video- it seemed to me that the Equinox out-performed the Explorer, big time, on the deep targets. Nice job!

I'm a long time Explorer user. I prefer it over my CTX3030 because of the better display on the XS. I am considering a XP Deus or NOX for really trashy areas.

If others told you sensitivity 24 that may severely limit depth, especially if you were in Auto mode. Generally it's best to be in manual and turn the sensitivity up until it gets unstable, then back down a couple of notches.

Thank you for that depth video. Your test brings out the clarity in detecting.

Best of luck,

Tony

What Chris says..My last outing,I was at 30 in manual. I also was running in conductive not ferrous. But I still enjoyed the video! I would like to see an Equinox in person.

Not sure what the point of the video was? You took a machine that excels in iron and put it against one that struggles in iron,,and did a iron test video?

What are you talking about??? Its a depth test video...

No it did seem like ground was affecting explorer more than Nox. The one hole had some burn around it though.
