Explorer SE Pro or Safari?

I'd really appreciate some feedback on these detectors, as it relates to a true comparison. When you place the features side by side they appear to be so close. I've read mostly great reviews on both detectors, although there are many complaints about the weight distribution on the Explorer. I believe they're only six (6) ounces different in weight, so I'm thinking the weight distribution problem must be considerable. I was just about to purchase the SE PRO when more and more negatives about fatigue and pain came to light. Thanks in advance for everyone's help. I hope in the near future to offer as much help on the forum, as everyone here is willing to give. Lot's of real PROS here!!

I always Hear about weight factors with detectors. I understand that in some cases weight would be a factor. Every year when I start detecting my arm hurts for a week or so, but it goes away after that. I have used several detectors and never felt that 6 oz made that much of a difference. I have used both the Safari and the Explorer and feel that they are about the same weight. And are both awesome detectors. Unless your planning on getting an X Terra which is about half the weight or a similar type detector the sore arm is worth every moment with an FBS detector in your hand.

i have an exploroer i took it to the czech republic 2 years ago and walked about 6 km
wieght was not a problem.
