Explorer SE Goes to the lane

Last night, I finally got a chance to take the SE for a trip to the beach. It was very hard to leave my normal beach detector a modified Explorer II in the truck.

The results were more that expected for this time of year and the number of hunters that frequent this location.

I do have to say I like the Pitch Hold for this style of hunting. Targets ranged in depth from 4-11 inches. The Pin-Point is on the money even on the deep targets. After a while, I got tired of digging so many deep pennies and started digging only low conductive targets and quarters.
