After you have entered settings on the explorer with the standard coil, can you switch to the small coil without entering the settings again, or must you re-enter them? Thanks, John I. in N.J.
 
hi john,
if im not mistaken you can use your same setting if your talking about patterns and programs. most times i use the 8 inch coil but when switching to the 5 inch coil ill use the same programs. with the WOT coil and the joey i which the sens. and that all depends on ground conditions. stan sjmdc
