Haven't posted here since last year, I see allot of familiar names here on the mod forum so hello gang.......To be honest I've been neglecting many e-mail from both friends and family. Sorry about this as I may have lost many friends from this. It's not you but has been a rough one for me lately, I apologize for any in convince to my friends and family.
Here's a quick mod completed this evening taking about 4 hours, Quick and simple knocking off several ounces and more balanced now. Solid as a rock too. S-handle with Sovereign lower rods to hold the coils, Battery pack came off of a CS-6.
You guys and gals take care,
Paul (Ca)

That is quite impressive!
Where did you get the metal retention clips for the pinpointer?

My friend gave me a several, He's a manufacture here in California and has all sorts of stuff. I quess you could find them just about any parts store? They work great for replacing broken SuyRay clips, these won't break..
HH, Paul (Ca).

... look like what you would use to hold broom handles in your closet. Try your local hardware store. You might want to bring along your x-1 or a piece of PVC pipe that matches it for a fit check.

Paul did a nice job but there are niftier clip-sets, easy to find, too. One is the Mag-Light clips, other is the car clips for can of Mace.
