Explorer II For Relic Hunting??????

Any thoughts guys? I've had 2 Safari's and tried them and did not warm up to either of them. How is the Explorer II in iron? I hunt mostly camps and home sites. I know they are killer on silver, but how do they stack up on the lower conductors, (Brass & Lead) ?????? Depth on lower conductors???? MO

morelic -- while these machines CAN do relics, I personally do not feel they are as good in iron, or as good on low conductors, as your Gold Bug Pro/G2 (I forget which one you have...)

I HAD HAVE OWNED MY FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS, I HUNT OLD CAMP SITES, HOMESTEADS FIELDS, BEACH GREAT ALL AROUND MACHINE. IT DOES GREAT I MEAN REALLY AWESOME ON BRASS AND LEAD EXAMPLES BUTTONS AND BULLETS ARE MAGNET.

I agree also.
I went over certain old hunted sites, with my EXPII and pulled all sorts brass /lead items others missed.
It wasn't miltary stuff,but doesn't matter. It was deep and missed by others.
If you can find .22 bullets down 3-4 inches or more,I think that says something .

Thanks for the info guys, I have a nice on on the way. We have been getting good rains here to get the ground ready for a great hunting season. I can usualy hunt if the ground does not freeze hard. Anyone have any fav settings for Relics???

Explorer one of the best detectors. explorer will be the same like Safari just more good things inside. Safari is Ok too because its the same Explorer without good things. its looks like you not learned your Safari if you still have one learn.
