Explorer II & Explorer SE Mobile Phone ISSUE INTERFERENCE

I own a CTX3030 and two of my friends that go hunting own the Explorer 2 and SE. Yesterday we were out in the fields and one of them tried to turn his SE on. The moment he pressed the ON button his phone rang and when he answered it the detector went all nuts playing all kind of sounds. He then tried to noise cancel the detector and immediately the Explorer 2 became the same thing. All setting were reset not on the factory but random settings. Mine didn't get affected in any way. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM???

Wow, I never heard of that happening. Is it coinsidance? Could be!
Make sure you all use manual settings for noise - each use a different one.
I like lower or higher and use exp 2 . Look at the messages on this or the classroom forum for silver or gold noise settings and adjust manually. If you don't like one then hit the button - I love these machines

We tried the same thing after we fixed the machines and the same thing happened. We made a phonecall at the same time we start the machine and it all went nuts.

Interesting what cell phone do you both use? I have an iphone 4s and never had this issue
