explorer II coil question

hey guys ,did minelab do anything with the stock coil on the new explore II to lighten it up or is it still as heavy as the stock coil on the exp.xs Thanks in advance Robert in wisc

It felt lighter to me as I was putting mine together, but after assembling the whole thing it feels pretty much the same weight

When I picked up my Exp II Me and David Weighed it on the spot and it was 2 oz's lighter than the XS so it will feel the same! I know that I thought that the coil was hotter or its the new electronic or software that makes it seem like it's hotter than the XS in my opinion and I have seen a few other posts were people had thought the same thing..
Mike

When it is on the lower shaft the new XS II is 1 oz heavier than the stock XS coil on the lower shaft, so the new shaft would have to be 3 OZ heavier if the coil is 2 OZ lighter than the XS.
We weigh them on a postal scale.

I'm not going to say your lieing!!!!! Dave didn't have a POSTAL Scale but I'm just tell yea what it weighted when I got mine...
