Any of you guys notice that the good finds "jewelry" has a good tone over the broken scratchy tone of pull tabs? I noticed that the newer shallow tabs sound good. But the deeper more corroded tabs sounded very broken and scratchy. Its not the same sound as a deep good target. The ring i found yesterday had a nice 4 way tone and was about 12" deep. All of the pull tabs "unless new or shallow" didn't sound as good.

Is anyone sing different settings? I wonder if Fe sounds and or 2/4 tones would be better?
