explorer coming

if You know someone that owns one and is seasoned try and hunt a few times with them. Ask lots of questions, read the manual over and over, eash time I read it I would understand even more. I also bought the Andy Sabish book, It was a bigger help than the manual. If You own another machine let a buddy or relative keep it and promise NOT to let You have it back for 3 months. This way You will be firced to learn the XS. I traded my first detector for accessories for the XS and have no regrets at all !!! Shortly after I traded it I was thinking I had made a BIG mistake, but it started making sense after a couple times out. I have only owned the XS for a month and a half and I'm still a newbie, but I do understand enough to find some silver and wheaties, also found a Confederate Cast I button yesterday!!! I wouldn't have found it with my previous detectors as it was at 6". The XS sang like a bird !!! Just give it time and You'll LOVE It !!!
HH, and Good Luck!

Ron,
Leave home, if wife catches up with you - tell her you know nothing about it, stop reading this forum - otherwise you will end up living with the monkies. I have never seen anything that causes so much confusion, I have my xs for 1 year and the da.... thing confuses me each time I switch it on. However on occasions it does send me a nice message.
