I have an Minelab Explorer 2 with a 10" coil in very good condition. included is a 5" Excelorator coil and lower shaft, Minelab dustcover, 2 12v battery packs, Vanson ni-mh/ni-cd battery charger, An explorer 2 vhs training presentation tape, detector bag and the factory box. What is the value or trade value for a fisher cz
 
Well, there are more questions like how much usage, is the screen perfect, had any repairs done to it, original owner etc etc.
But, without seeing more close up photos as compared to one that's pretty vague (ie: screen cover) it could be a lil more or less then about $550. Of course this is only my opinion.
Keep in mind something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. The plus for you is they are hot sellers.

Not sure how long you have been a Explorer user but, they truely are at the top of the foodchain in detector technology (along with the E-Trac and CTX) imho.
If your set on trading or selling utilize the Detector For Sale and Trade Forum.
 
Mike, I have been a CZ user for many years. the Explorer is a whole new animal can't get use to it. As far as condition, excellent no marks on the screen or anywere I can see except the coil covers.
 
Only you know what's best for you. I figured you must have been a CZ user prior.
I will say 600. if its in excellent shape. With spring headed everyone's way now is a great time to get top dollar.
If it where mine I might even start the pricing at 625. if it where mint.
You can always come down but, once priced you cannot go up.
I advocate selling it here but, for reference I checked that bay site and most recent sales of the Exp-II are selling between 500-630.

Yes I would sell it here if I decide to sell, I've bought and sold here before. Thanks for the advice.
 
My wife just bought for herself a near mint Explorer II with stock 10.5 coil and Sunray X-12 coil. Each coil mounted to own shaft for easy change out. Original box and paper work and all other goodies. Paid $895. And I am ok with that. I have had my Explorer II since they released in 04. LOVE IT
