EXPLORER 2 FER-CON #'s FOR GOLD TARGETS

I have a list from this site of numbers fer, cond for coin targets. Anyone have a list of numbers for different size gold rings and other gold targets? Thanks Tom

Keep in mind Gold Rings etc. have so many variables be it size, kt. weight, etc.
The vast majority will fall into the trash category.

With that said here is a link you will like that someone did on some Gold Rings.

Happy Hunting.

Thanks Mike, i'm hunting the locale pool thats been closed for 3 years. I have dug all the low tone targets, only thing left is higher tones and hate digging 07-26 copper pennies. This chart shows some 18k rings in that area. Think i should go back and dig some of those targets? Tom

The book, The Minelab Explorer and E-Trac Handbook by Andy Sabisch has alot of display references in it. It is a vital tool to any Explorer and E-Trac user I read and reread mine quite often and it has helped me quite abit to figure out what my Explorer is telling me. Your local dealer should be able to get you a copy of it if you are interested. I just bought my Explorer SE a few months ago, and I have a long way to go before I figure out everything I can do with it, but I have had a blast using it and have had some good silver finds, including a nice 1917 Walking Liberty Half.

Due to the various alloys of gold, gold can read as low as tinfoil and has high as Pulltabs. The quickest way to verify this is to pass your machine over various samples of Old Gold, 10K, 18K, 24K.. Just sayin..
